This changes some of the finish options, in particular those based off of the colours of the raw materials:
- RCB | Raw Copper with Raw Brass Fittings: Left with the heat patterns and weld marks. Majority copper with brass nuts & fittings. It will mature over time.
- PCPB | Polish to Plate Copper with Polish to Plate Brass Fittings: Polished to remove the manufacture marks, this finish will mature and will give you a mixed copper polish finish with brass nuts & fittings.
- When matching with Polished Brass (PB) tapware and accessories, electroplated finishes like Antique Brass (AB) may be preferred.
- Raw copper tubing has stamped material codes rolled into it as part of the tube manufacture process. This stamp mark may be visible on the finished product, even with polished or electroplated finishes.
- CTS = Copper Tube Size. For example 50mm CTS is actually 2" (50.8mm) diameter. Copper and brass material sizes are imperial.
- Like our tapware & accessories, the Chrome Plate (CP) finish option for our traps is polished chrome.
